If you are going to export a newly purchased product to a country outside the EU, you can ask us for a VAT refund. For a proper refund we always need the original paper invoice with a customs export stamp, a scan or photo is not enough. Please note we'll need the stamp on the invoice and not your order confirmation. You can send the original stamped invoice to:
Snowcountry
Astronaut 10
3824 MJ Amersfoort
The Netherlands
Conditions of eligibility for VAT refund
- Your order is delivered within the EU.
- You are demonstrably resident outside the EU.
- Invoice value is € 150 or more.
- You have to show the invoice and products to customs yourself.
- You must export the products within 3 months of purchase.
- Without a stamped paper invoice we will not be able to refund VAT.
- We can only refund to the payment method used to pay for the order.
- Processing a VAT refund takes a maximum of 30 days.
IMPORTANT
Please note that this method is not the same as tax-free shopping (via e.g. Global Blue). You will not receive any tax-free documents from us that will get you a VAT refund from customs. We will refund the VAT to you after we have received the stamped invoice from you as proof of export. The way it works can differ per country and airport, so make sure you know where and how you can get the export stamp. We are not responsible for not being able to obtain an export stamp.
